“Momster” wants Tari to replicate Michael Jordan
As LeBron James’ recent comments bring Michael Jordan‘s legendary flu game back into focus, Tari Eason’s mom, Teroya, is seizing the opportunity to leverage the hype. She introduced a unique side quest for her son’s NBA journey, and it revolves around activating the ‘flu-game’ mode. Taking to Twitter in a recent post, she wrote, “My baby is playing a flu game, and I need him to channel that Jordan in his middle name and go to work!”

Teroya has a history of comparing and applauding her son as the potential next Michael Jordan. Since the very beginning, her lofty basketball ambitions for Tari have gone as far as giving him the middle name ‘Jordan’.

Tari might just be listening to her mother
In a low-scoring matchup against the San Antonio Spurs, the Houston Rockets emerged victorious with a final score of 93-82. Surprisingly, they were propelled by none other than Tari Eason. Even though it was no scoring clinic by the youngster, it is a great start in a perfectly correct direction. He was initially under medical scrutiny due to a leg injury, receiving the green light before the game. Right from the outset, Eason played a pivotal role in steering the Rockets toward victory.

Coming off the bench, Eason led the team in scoring with 18 points, marking his highest of the season. Additionally, he achieved a double-double with 14 rebounds, showcasing his versatility. In his 27 minutes on the floor, Eason maintained an efficient 50% shooting, going 8-16 from the field.
Teaming up with Eason was veteran Fred VanVleet and Alperen Sengun. Fred added 16 points and 6 rebounds to the lot. Sengun recorded a near double-double with 15 points and 9 rebounds.
With their recent victory, the Houston Rockets handed San Antonio their 17th consecutive loss.
