Philadelphia 76ers big man Paul Reed recently ignited controversy after his comments over the Los Angeles Lakers star Anthony Davis. His ‘big flopper’ comment about Davis didn’t go well with the fans. He tried to explain offer explanations for the same, but it had infuriated the fans already. And recently he didn’t have kind enough words for Elon Musk as well as he tried to share his views on the various business endeavors of the Tesla CEO.

Elon Musk is one of the most divisive figures in recent memory. While many praise him for his innovations, his stance on several important issues has incurred the wrath of the public.

Paul Reed takes a dig at Elon Musk

Reed in his podcast Out Da Mud discussed a host of issues, including trash talk on Anthony Davis and the dominance of LeBron James in the NBA. He took shots at Musk during the interview as well. After naming his all-time starting 5, including Steph Curry, LeBron James, and Michael Jordan he took the discussion to Twitter. He shared his views about the blue tick verification, which was changed by Musk. Reed said, “I just realized on Twitter you can’t DM me because you ain’t verified and that’s because of Elon Musk. He want to be extra, so now I got to move differently.

When asked where he wants the people to communicate with him, Reed chose Instagram. He took a jibe at Musk while trying to confirm that Musk didn’t own Instagram. He shared about the $47.4 billion entity, “Hit me up on Instagram. I’m gonna get back to you and yeah so that’s the new wave right there. Elon Musk dont own Instagram right?” But Musk’s X management alone was not on the hit list of Reed.

Paul Reed on Joel Embiid’s 50 points game

Reed was asked to share his view on Joel Embiid’s 50-point game against the Washington Wizards. The reigning MVP’s blistering knock helped the 76ers win 131-126. Reed had a hilarious take on the same. He said, “I mean it was like wow you not just destroying me in the practice, you destroying everyone in the league.” Further, he added that he kept thinking in practice how to stop him. Later, he felt that Embiid was doing the same to everyone and he should not be feeling bad.
