In a surprising turn of events, pop icon Britney Spears recently shared a perplexing post on Instagram, which drew comparisons between NBA player Victor Wembanyama and legendary music groups NSYNC and The Beatles. Now what had happened is that she tried to approach the 19-year-old French basketball player for a picture. But Britney got hit while trying to tap Victor Wembanyama. The footage showed the security guard pushing her away. However, Spears’ account of the incident differs from Wembanyama’s.

Wembanyama offered his account of the incident, saying that he had never actually seen Britney Spears’ face during the encounter. Contradicting his security guard’s claims, Wembanyama clarified that Spears had tapped him on the shoulder instead of grabbing him.

However, in her Instagram post, Britney Spears reflected on her entertainment industry career and interactions with famous people. 

Britney’s cryptic note that sheds light on the incident 

She drew a parallel between NSync and the Beatles saying, “I’ve been working in the industry for years and have been with some of the most famous people in the world … NSYNC at one point were like The Beatles … girls would throw themselves at them everywhere we went …” She points out that never has something like this happened before in her entire career. 

While discussing her experiences, she says that throughout her life; she had never witnessed a security guard physically assaulting someone until this particular incident. Britney expressed her reaction as “priceless” and admitted that her response was far from ideal. However, she emphasized that she did not share this story to portray herself as a victim, but to shed light on her personal experiences and frustrations.

Despite the unfortunate incident, Britney made it clear that she remains a huge fan of Victor Wembanyama and holds no offense toward him, acknowledging that accidents happen.
