Chris Paul got candid with his take on playing with the Dubs stars. The Golden State Warriors made the unlikeliest trade in the 2023 offseason by roping in the veteran point guard. The 12x All-Star immediately fit right into the mix and became a valuable piece of the side. Months after his successful stint with the Dubs, Paul opened up about playing alongside the Warriors big-3.

During the post-game conference after the Charlotte Hornets win, CP3 spoke about the superstar with whom he has played throughout his career. However, he held the Warriors trio, Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, and Klay Thompson, a step above them. Speaking of Green, he said, “I never played with a guy like Draymond too. That kid pass like me… it’s fine. I enjoy when we get a chance to play together.” Moreover, before making that statement, he dissected the difference between the Dubs trio and other superstars.

Chris Paul, listed out the superstar teammates of his career. He mentioned the names of Kevin Durant and Devin Booker with whom he had a short stint at the Phoenix Suns before moving to San Francisco. After them, he also recalled Blake Griffin and David West.

Moreover, he didn’t just stop at mentioning their name. CP3 went on to point out the aspects that differentiate the Dubs trio from these superstars. He said, “But these guys (Dubs trio), they have been together so long, just know where they going to be. His ball movements, screens… smart cerebral planning.”

While he pointed out the difference in playing alongside a longtime trio, he also mentioned his favorite teammate from his entire career. And, it’s not Steph, Klay, or DrayMagic.

Who is Chris Paul’s favorite teammate?

It’s none other than Moses Moody. The 21-year-old has had a decent outing in this season, playing with limited minutes given to him. Speaking of his mentality, Chris Paul said, “He is a hooper in the morning, thinking that he might not be part of the rotation and game time will come and coach will be like, you start. He just stay-ready.”
