Miami Heat defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers by a significant margin of 129-96. Kyle Lowry and Jaime Jaquez Jr, with their 28 and 22 points respectively, played a crucial role in this. With the win, they passed the Philadelphia 76ers to be the 4th seeder in Eastern Conference tables.

Despite his heroics against the Chicago Bulls, Bam Adebayo missed out on the last match. The two-time All-Star scored a valiant 23 points, coupled with 11 rebounds, and 6 assists against the Bulls. The Heat will face the New York Knicks tomorrow in Madison Square Garden, for the NBA In-Season tournament. Will Adebayo be available for them? Or will he sit out?

Bam Adebayo is questionable

Amid all the speculations regarding his return, it is the x (formerly Twitter) handle of the Miami Heat that drops the bombshell. They list him as questionable. Surely this might account for bad news for the Magic City-based team.

Apart from Adebayo, Dru Smith is ruled out due to a knee injury. Duncan Robinson is questionable for a right thumb sprain. And Kevin Love, who was out for personal reasons, joined back the team.

The 26-year-old center’s absence, if prolonged, can be a major issue for the Heat. However, there is Thomas Bryant available to fill in the position. And Bam Bam’s injury does not look that serious at this point. Hopefully, he will be back against the Brooklyn Nets on 26th November.

Bam Adebayo, Jimmy Butler and co. for another championship final?

The last year’s finalists are in tremendous form in this edition as well. It won’t be surprising if Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo race to the finals. Before their initial face-off with the Chicago Bulls, the Miami Heat had a staggering seven-match winning streak.

Jimmy Butler told the media that the team’s guarding well has been the reason for it. Taking that point into consideration, the media asked Bam Adebayo about what is really was making a difference for them as a team.

Bam said, “I think as everybody’s just starting to find their comfortable state, and you know, we’re realizing what we’re asking from them, uh, so we’re putting in a position for them to be successful.” He added, “The guys have been really locked in on that end, getting stops, communicating, and you know, it’s off to the races and they are having fun.”
