After hearing the entire off-season about how the ten-time All-Star is very erratic with his appearance, we have entered the regular season. James Harden is under a microscopic lens right now, for whatever he says, how he plays, and other aspects as well.

With that recent development, the acquisition of the No. 1 jersey, and then the media statements, every action of his is being monitored. After all, his trade to the Clippers is not a surprise, with the Beard actively campaigning to join them since his Philly failure.

James Harden has to perform

When James Harden was traded off to the Clippers, it was obvious that the player would lose his Philadelphia 76ers No. 1 jersey. However, being allotted the same number once he entered the LA Clippers is indeed a colossal achievement. However, for him to sustain his image as an elite offensive player, assisting PJ Tucker in winning the championship would be of utmost importance now.

With fans commenting that he would have to enter his 2012 era again, “The Beard” is nothing but excited for his Clippers’ debut on Monday, November 6. Fans are, however, welcoming the player with great pomp and show.

While others are of the view that PG is eyeing an MVP title next to James Harden.

Not only that, but the point guard dilemma is also the talk of the town. With Russell Westbrook and James Harden eyeing the same spot, the franchise is going to dwindle a bit in the next game.

The question still prevails whether the Clippers are ready for the 2024 title run or not.

One thing is very clear the star guard will be playing this season for himself, but what the Clippers need right now is a team player. And that momentum and balance will be difficult to achieve, at least for the first few games.

The LA Clippers will have a face-off against the New York Knicks this coming Monday. Along with that, NBA fans will be witnessing James Harden for the first time in this regular season, a much-awaited game indeed.
