Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James confirmed his participation in the upcoming season in a grand style. The Akron Hammer’s announcement came with the confirmed entry of a 25 year-old rising star in LA camp. The King responded the return with a heartfelt message.

LeBron James recently received the Best Record-Breaking Performance award at 2023 ESPY Awards for surpassing the record for most points scored in the NBA. But it was the acceptance speech that turned everyone’s attention on the 4x NBA champion. And now The Chosen One has spared some special words for his teammate.

The Lakers ended their 2022-23 season after losing the Western Conference Finals series to the Denver Nuggets. The LA side had several youngsters stepping up for the team in various crucial occasions and one of them was Austin Reaves. 

Reaves recently got a reward for his performance. He re-signed with the Purple and Gold side again with a four-year contract. The team took to its IG handle and dedicated a special post on his return with compilation of his best performances.

Moments after the official announcement, the Hillbilly Kobe shared a picture of himself alongside LeBron James on his IG story. In response to that, James reshared the story on his IG along with a heartfelt note, “Miss you bro!! In due time.”

The 25 year-old rising star holds a close bond with the Lakers superstar and at the same time his nickname is associated with another Lakers legend. 

Reaves recently received his call for national duty representing the team USA at the FIBA men’s basketball world cup alongside fellow NBA stars.

After losing the Conference Finals series against the Nuggets, James shocked the NBA world when he expressed ambiguity over his future in the league.

While fans were in denial of his post-game press conference speech, the superstar himself announced his return in style: “The day I can’t give the game everything on the floor, is the day I’ll be done. Lucky for you guys, that day is not today.”

The arena erupted after his thunderous words and lit up the social media.
