Dennis Schroder has been an integral part of the German team who recently got over a major obstacle. They faced fan favorites, Luka Doncic and Slovenia, in the second round of the FIBA World Cup 2023.

Germany beat Slovenia 100-71 with Schroder recording 24 points, 10 assists and 2 rebounds. On the other hand, Doncic had 23 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for the night.

Just hours after this massive win, Cristiano Ronaldo, who has earned over $1 billion in career earnings, celebrated his goal with the ‘Freeze’ celebration . And, Schroder is well known for using that celebration.

“@cristiano Hit the freeze. Everyone comment on his recent post “freeze” and put @ds17_fg to get his attentionOther elite athletes also used extensively his ‘ice in the veins’!!” wrote the 29-year-old on his Instagram story.

The former Lakers star is well known for hitting the ‘Freeze’. Interestingly, his teammate D’Angelo Russell also has a very popular celebration. His ‘ice in the veins’ is also used extensively by other elite athletes.

LeBron James once hit the ‘freeze’

The Los Angeles Lakers took on the Minnesota Timberwolves in the 2022-23 season during their play-in game. It was an exciting affair, and the Lakers clinched a late win thanks to Schroder’s clutch three pointer.

The German star and LeBron both hit the ‘freeze’ in front of the Timberwolves bench with 1.4 seconds left on the clock. Interestingly, Schroder’s three pointer was assisted by none other than James himself.
