The 27-year-old nearly achieved a triple-double, recording 24.0 points, 12.3 rebounds, and 9.8 assists over the last four games in the 2023-24 NBA Regular Season. This remarkable performance included a dominant double-double in the victory against the Los Angeles Lakers at Arena on Wednesday. In a post-game interview, the 27-year-old center, contemplated on what went right for them.“Coming out aggressive, running, just kind of playing our game, being in gaps, making them do something else,” said Sabonis.

He further cautioned the team by saying, “We are continuing to have a better defense than last year. Last couple of games, we have put up more points than we are used to, compared to last year, We got to keep doing all the little details. We can not get complacent.”

Meanwhile, even Skip Bayless clowned LA on his Twitter hailing Fox’s heroics, he wrote, “during Fox owns the Lakers.”
