Commencing a lengthy road trip with a strong performance, the Sacramento Kings now boast a four-game winning streak, propelled by the impressive contributions of Lithuanian center Domantas Sabonis.

 

The 27-year-old nearly achieved a triple-double, recording 24.0 points, 12.3 rebounds, and 9.8 assists over the last four games in the 2023-24 NBA Regular Season. This remarkable performance included a dominant double-double in the victory against the Los Angeles Lakers at Crypto.com Arena on Wednesday. In a post-game interview, the 27-year-old center, contemplated on what went right for them.“Coming out aggressive, running, just kind of playing our game, being in gaps, making them do something else,” said Sabonis.

He further cautioned the team by saying, “We are continuing to have a better defense than last year. Last couple of games, we have put up more points than we are used to, compared to last year, We got to keep doing all the little details. We can not get complacent.”

Despite a triple-double by LeBron James, the Kings clinically got the dub over the Los Angeles Lakers.

De’Aaron Fox’s impressive performance was instrumental as the 25-year-old contributed 28 points and 5 assists, guiding the Kings to victory over the Lakers. Despite King James’ historic 108th regular season triple-double with a remarkable 28-12-10 stat line, the Lakers couldn’t overcome the Kings’ resurgence. Meanwhile, even Skip Bayless clowned LA on his Twitter hailing Fox’s heroics, he wrote, “during Fox owns the Lakers.”
