The Golden State Warriors were handed their third straight loss at the hands of the Los Angeles Clippers. A shorthanded Warriors team did their best to overcome the Clippers, but the stars of LA were too much for Stephen Curry and the rest to handle.

Not only did Los Angeles win the game, but their star guard James Harden also achieved a career milestone in all-time points. So, after this achievement, how far ahead is Harden from Curry on the all-time scoring list?

Stephen Curry has been revolutionary for the game of basketball since he took off with the Warriors. His long-range shooting is something that every young kid tries to emulate on the basketball court.

Curry is already the leader in most three-pointers in NBA history, surpassing the likes of Ray Allen and Reggie Miller. But his rank on the all-time scoring list is still something that can be worked on.

Stephen Curry is currently at the 34th spot on the all-time scoring list. His total career points so far are 22,341 points. James Harden, on the other hand, recently crossed the 25,000 career point milestone while playing the Warriors.

The Los Angeles Clippers not only won the game but Harden also went on to achieve this huge career milestone. Harden’s point total now stands at 25,008 points after his 28-point performance against the Warriors. 

Harden is currently at the 24th spot on the list, with NBA legend Jerry West being his next name to surpass on the list. And by the time Harden hangs his sneakers, he may have crossed the top 20 marks or even the top 15 as well.

James Harden may not be the threat that he was back in his day, but he surely has the ability to turn back the clock every now and then. Harden’s peak came when he was playing for the Houston Rockets.

The Beard broke and set numerous records while playing for Houston. And one can only wonder what would’ve been, had Harden not left the Rockets. Because since then, the 10-time All-Star has not been able to find a team where he can fit in properly.
