The brunt of the attacks though are directed at Harrison.

According to reports, the Dallas Mavericks GM has hired a full-time security team to protect his house. In addition, with the Mavericks returning home for the first time since the trade, the team has felt the hostility in the air. They plan to increase the security tomorrow. But Harrison himself will be taking precautions.

Just how much could it cost him?

How much could Nico Harrison spend on security?

Amidst the fans’ outrage, Nico Harrison hasn’t made his usual public appearances. Notably, during Anthony Davis’ introductory press conference, the 52-year-old wasn’t present in the crowd. That wasn’t the case when the team unveiled Kyrie Irving. Furthermore, the Mavs themselves are aware of the risk Harrison could be subject to tomorrow.

The franchise has taken its own measures. Notably, he won’t be seated in his usual seat tomorrow due to security concerns. But that can’t be enough. Hence, it’s highly likely that Nico Harrison hires personal security to safeguard himself. And it’s not going to be cheap.

According to Personal Protection Solutions, the base price of a personal bodyguard starts at $20 per hour. But depending on the level of risks, the costs around bound to grow higher. In Harrison’s case who is a high-profile entity, personal security could cost anywhere between $50 to an excess of $100 per hour in Texas.

Likewise, considering the grave situation, Nico Harrison is projected to have a high-caliber protection team around him. Hence, even if we consider $100 per hour rate, one bodyguard could cost him close to $500 for the entire duration of the game against the Houston Rockets. Depending upon the preferred number of personnel needed, Harrison could be required to spend in the thousands to protect himself from the enraged Dallas crowd.

However, at this point these are only rough estimates. Depending upon the security company, the costs could go higher.
