Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler indirectly responded to the 2024 All-Star snub after the Friday night win. The defending Eastern Conference Champs shut down the Washington Wizards for a comfortable 110-102 win. With his 24-point outing, Butler is on the brink of attaining a major milestone during the season.

The 34-year-old is closer to achieving a 50-40-90 club this season, and he doesn’t seem to be pleased with it. One reporter asked him about how closely he has been keeping track of his milestone. Butler instead hit back at him with a simple, straightforward response. He said, “I’m not. I’m not paying attention to it. We sit here, we mess around, we joke about it, but I could care less.”

Speaking to the reporters in the locker room, Jimmy Butler wasn’t having it right from the beginning. In fact, he jokingly burst off at them, following a question. One of reporters asked him about his aggressive nature on the court. He hilariously responded, “Can y’all please leave me alone.”

Notably, this interaction came in hours after the league announced the reserves for the All-Star game. Among the list of players who were in the All-Star snub conversation, Butler also held a place.

While one might argue that Butler should have deserved a spot in the reserve, some say that it was meant to happen. Currently, Butler averages 21.5 points in this season, which is comparatively way lesser than the other snubs. On the other hand, there is no doubt that Butler is a top-class playoff contender, but he usually doesn’t press on the gas during the regular season.
