2x NBA Champ Kevin Durant is the man of few words. The superstar rarely appears on interviews and podcasts and when he does, he makes it a worthwhile. He recently joined in for a short video conference interview, which quickly turned into a friendly banter. Moreover, this isn’t KD’s first altercation with a scribe in question. He has a history of a Twitter spat, which dates three years back and the Phoenix Suns forward found the right moment to get back at him.

Unlike other stars, the Slim Reaper doesn’t engage in heated arguments with anyone. The most KD had done is, taking to his X, formerly known as Twitter, and express his disdain. Notably, he had issues with NBA legend Charles Barkley over his comments on television. He tweeted, “I’ll never respect the words that come out ya mouth fam just deal with it.” Following that, fans witnessed another side of KD again.

Speaking to Justin Termine and Eddie Johnson of NBA Today, Kevin Durant was put on the spot by Termine. Before their altercation, they spoke extensively on KD’s approach going forward in the upcoming season. The superstar is all set to kick off his season with a preseason game against the Detroit Pistons. Everything went on track until Termine stopped to stir up the conversation.

He asked, “What do you think of Eddie Johnson as a person.” Durant slid past the question saying, he loves him, but he sternly said, “You though!” Termine immediately responds back saying that he was the one who defends him against Eddie. The Suns superstar continued saying he understands Eddie going at him, reasoning he played meaningful games. Notably, Johnson had played 17 seasons in the league, before turning to the broadcast business.

On the other hand, KD had issues with Termine. He said, “I don’t know if you have played any meaningful games… I don’t really know you.”

At that time, KD played alongside Kyrie Irving in Brooklyn. During that time, Termine questioned the support that Irving was receiving, reported Bleacher Report.

In response, Durant tagged Termine and tweeted, “He is good at basketball.”

He further went on to downplay the importance of fan votes involved in the league. Years after that, the duo had a go at each other.
