Health scares in the James clan

Lebron James has been defying age on all fronts and is famous for his diet and fitness across the board. So much so that reportedly, as per Yardbarker, the L-Train spends about $1.5 million annually on nutrition.

So when Savannah James shared her story with her staggering 2.4 million followers, fans were left wondering if everything was A-Okay in the James household.

Last year, on July 24, their son, freshman at USC, Bronny James suffered a cardiac arrest during a practice session. Post the incident, a family spokesperson stated that the cardiac arrest was due to an “anatomically and functionally significant congenital heart defect”. The young James has been stated to have recovered successfully and is now looking forward to the 2024 NBA Draft.

LeBron, 39, is acknowledged as one of the fittest athletes. James even went on a Paleo diet for 67 days straight, following Ray Allen and all he ate for those 67 days was meat, fish, veggies, and fruits. No sugar, dairy, or carbs. For 67 days! He complements his diet with ice baths and versatile training.

Is bio-hacking the future of health?

Savannah, 37, too prioritizes her health. In an interview with The Cut, she mentioned practices such as juicing, intermittent fasting, and detox programs. Could “biohacked water” be the latest addition to her health routine?

Biohacking is simply “do-it-yourself” biology where one tries to manipulate one’s biology for improved health and well-being. Intermittent fasting, which Savannah mentioned she already does, is also a type of biohacking. Cold water therapy (ice baths) is another, which King James swears by.

Although there’s little information about the extent of biohacking, fans hope that Savannah is being treated right with proper medical guidance. One doesn’t doubt that given the extent of the James clan resources, but is Savannah’s Instagram story a cause for concern or simply a glimpse into a new health trend ready to take over the internet?
