Anthony Black was born to Terry and Jennifer Black on January 20, 2004, in Las, Colinas, Texas. His parents were both athletes. Anthony’s father, Terry played basketball at the NCAA level, representing Baylor University. Terry was inducted into the Baylor Hall of Fame in 2015 for his accolades with them. He still holds the career record for steals at 2.55 per game.

On the other hand, his mother played soccer at the university level for Texas and Baylor. Anthony also has two siblings to round out his family. His brother, Edward, is a basketball player like him. Whereas, his sister is a track and field athlete.

Anthony spent his early life growing up in Germany due to his father’s playing career overseas. By age 3, Anthony was fluent in German, apparently even speaking it as he slept.
