Lillard was with the Portland Trail Blazers after being 1st round, 6th overall pick in the 2012 NBA draft. Although he couldn’t secure an NBA championship in that tenure, Dame’s impact on the franchise can’t be diminished. He made seven All-Star appearances and won Rookie of The Year in 2013.

However, he wasn’t happy at the club and wanted a trade for some time. Initially, it was all about his move to the Miami Heat. Fans were almost convinced that it was bound to happen this year. However, Lillard had other plans and hence shocked the hoop community with a move to Milwaukee.

The 7x All-Star showed great enthusiasm over joining forces with Giannis Antetokounmpo. With the fans giving him a warm welcome at his new home, Lillard’s debut for Milwaukee garners even more anticipation. The teams have lined up for preseason games in Abu Dhabi and we’re seeing interesting combinations being tried out. Unfortunately, the Bucks fans will not get to witness Dame Time in their signature white and green against the Chicago Bulls. While it is still unclear as to how long the wait is going to be, Bucks fans can only hope for the best as the season approaches.
