Yes, Joel Embiid is all set to suit up tonight after taking a night off against the Nets. The Philadelphia big man missed his team’s previous game due to load management, indicating he’ll participate tonight. This should be a huge boost for the Sixers, as they’ll need him to guide them past Josh Giddey and Co. So far, Embiid has been pretty solid, averaging 17.3 points along with 5.3 rebounds and 3.5 assists while shooting around 46 percent from the field.

So the Process’ presence tonight should be reassuring for the 76ers. However, that does not mean he’ll play the entire game. Embiid has been on a minutes restriction early this season. While the actual number of minutes the former MVP has clocked in on a game-to-game basis has deferred, it’s safe to expect him to see the court tonight for 20 or so minutes, given the previous data. Nonetheless, having him back in the mix is all that would matter for Philly, as we now shift our focus to the rest of the players.

Apart from Joel Embiid’s return, there is more good news for Philadelphia in terms of injuries. After missing each game so far this season, their sophomore guard, Jared McCain (thumb), has been upgraded to probable ahead of this matchup in Chicago. The 21-year-old, who was on an impressive run last season before sustaining a devastating meniscus injury that cut his rookie season short, is expected to return to the court tonight.

Although the Sixers haven’t missed a beat without the youngster, he’ll recently improve their backcourt even further. However, not all is good for Philadelphia as they still will be without a couple of players, including veteran superstar Paul George.

This is a massive blow for Chicago, as the 25-year-old was one of the team’s better players last season. Now that’s an impressive stat line, if we’ve ever seen one. However, it’s not just Coby White’s absence that’ll haunt the Bulls tonight, as they’ll also be without Ayo Dosunmu and Zach Collins. While Dosunmu is questionable due to a quadriceps injury, Collins will be out for about four weeks after suffering a left wrist fracture. So, both teams will be without a few of their key players tonight. Does that mean we’ll see some changes in their starting lineups?
