Sometimes the LA Clippers look like they’re certain to make the playoffs with banger 4th quarter comebacks, and other times they lose miserably. Take their loss to the Chicago Bulls and the Toronto Raptors, for example. who shouldn’t really have a chance against them considering their potential and squad quality. I’m sure Tyronn Lue himself would be having sleepless nights drafting pep talks to get his gang over the line, especially against their next opponents, Pascal Siakam’s Indiana Pacers.

However, a good chunk of their misfortunes has been down to a losing battle against the injury demon. It’s been a while since they boasted an injury-free lineup for battle- it’s not happened this season for sure. The biggest talking point for them has been centered around the fitness of their talisman Kawhi Leonard, who’s been out consistently due to a recurring left calf strain. But will he feature against the Pacers tonight?

Clippers injury report and predicted lineup

The Angelenos would probably do anything to have their star player on the hardwood rather than the hospital bed. He, too, has turned up when his team needs him- who can forget his masterclass against the San Antonio Spurs, when 27 points, 7 rebounds, and 8 assists in 128-116 dub for the Cali team. And well, as a relief to all the Lob City faithful- he’s set to appear against the Pacers tonight.

19-year-old starlet Cam Christie has been listed as ‘questionable’ for the game though, suffering a left ankle sprain. Selected as the 46th overall pick in the 2024 NBA draft by the Clippers, he’s missed out on the last few games due to the same reason. His status as of now is still unconfirmed.

The Clippers have made history this season- though not the way they’d like it. Other than the day-to-day status of Christie, they’ll be going on the field with 0 injuries for the first time this season. It’s one of the most memed moments from the past week.

6th in the West vs 4th in the East- it’s close to impossible to predict who’ll come out on top. One thing’s for certain though- Lob City will need the likes of Kawhi Leonard and James Harden to step up to get over the line. Will the Klaw provide the grip they need against the team in form, or will the Blue & Gold train run full steam ahead at the Intuit Dome?
