Kevin Durant has a lot to show for his 16 years in the NBA. 2x NBA champion, 2x NBA Finals MVP, 13x NBA All-Star and the list goes on. This is just in the basketball sphere. The man has also dabbled in business ventures and invested in a lot of companies. The most prominent, though, would be 35V and Boardroom, with his longtime associate and friend Rich Kleiman.

Among all these, KD is careful to keep his personal affairs out of the media’s eyes. Tough job, but so is Durant. Right now though, fans and media alike are curious to know what’s going on in the romantic side of things for the 35-year-old.

Slim Reaper’s romantic inclinations

KD has definitely done an amazing job of being as private as a celebrity athlete can be. So much so that details of his romantic entanglements are often reduced to rumors and hypotheses. Not that there was much of an entanglement where Durant is concerned.

A recent story update by the Suns‘ star player has gotten everyone’s hopes up on possible wedding bells (too much of a stretch, would you say?). But hey, we all want to see the nomad in him settle down. Rhyne Howard of the Atlanta Dream WNBA posted a picture of them together on her story update tagging KD. He reposted it as his story update. This is not the first time the pair of them posted a picture together, with the caption, “Ya favorite player’s favorite player”.

The only confirmed relationship of KD was with former WNBA player Monica Wright. Unfortunately, they broke up not too long after the news of their engagement was confirmed. Sad, yes. But she is happily married now and we’re sure Kevin would also want that.

On a lighter note, the latest pictures or tagging each other hasn’t confirmed what we are hoping to hear. Neither of them has mentioned anything that might point to them being romantically interested in each other. But the 23-year-old up-and-coming Dream star did mention someone else she would say ‘I do’ right now.

Kevin Durant, Rhyne Howard and who?

We might not have sufficient information to confirm KD and Howard’s relationship. But we do know that Rhyne is very interested in a certain brown-eyed NBA player. Talking to The It Girls, Rhyne shares the name of a friend who she wouldn’t mind spending the rest of her life with.

When asked if she would say yes to Klay Thompson if he asked for her hand right now, she says, “A 100%. What took you so long?”

She also mentions her relationship with Kevin Durant in this episode. Apparently, Rhyne came to know that she was one of  KD’s favorite players. It’s no secret the support and help Durant provides for the WNBA. So, to hear that she was one of his favorites made her day. This is probably what she meant when she posted the above photo with the caption “favorite player”.
