While the arena erupted in excitement for Edwards’ clutch move, he immediately disappointed the fans, missing all free throws. And the OKC went on to win a comfortable 102-97 margin.

Following the game, he addressed the press regarding the FT blunder and gave a stern response. He said, “Make them miss them. I wasn’t really disappointed in that. Either I was going to make them or miss them, it don’t really matter. I missed them tonight, but I’ll make them next time.”
