It’s the second time in the last few days that Kevin Durant has turned things around for the Phoenix Suns. Following a miraculous fourth-quarter 22-point comeback orchestrated by KD, the 2x NBA Champion pulled off another blinder tonight. He cracked a tough game-winning jumper to take a close 113-115 win over the Chicago Bulls.

The Suns had a rusty start to the season. The plaguing injuries postponed the debut of the Big-3 for a quite a long time. Now that all three are back and fine tuned to perfection, the team registered their sixth consecutive win, took the 5th seed in the West tonight.

Following the game, it was Devin Booker again, who was left spellbound by the Slim Reaper’s game winner. Addressing the press, he said, “It’s like a video game. Just feels like I’m part of, when I was a kid and you create a player, and you’re out on the court playing against the legends of the game.”

It wasn’t just D-Book, who was shocked, but the entire Footprint Center was on their feet, as KD dropped the crucial three-pointer and followed it up with the game winning jumper.

With less than six left in the game, Jusuf Nurkić collected the ball from the sidelines and passed away straight away to KD when the scores were tied at 113. Immediately, Durant contested against two Bulls defenders and dropped the tough jumper.

The bucket pushed the former MVP’s score to 43 points, making it KD’s season high score. Tonight has been the night for individual records. Notably, Joel Embiid and Karl-Anthony Towns recorded their career high score.
