The Dubs entered the safe house tonight after the Houston Rockets blew their streak. The Dallas Mavericks spoiled Jalen Green & Co.’s perfect 11-game winning streak with a 125-107 blowout win. On the other hand, the Golden State Warriors regained their lost momentum by winning four games in a row. This win not only boosted the momentum but also widened the Dubs’ lead over the 11th-seeded Rockets in the points table.

Following the game, NBC Sports‘ hosts ripped apart the Rockets’ side on live TV. Speaking of the current West points table, Zena Keita, one of the hosts, said, “Stay back in the standings, two games out. Warriors have to keep building on the momentum and keep building on the cushion away from the Rockets.”

After an underwhelming run at the start of the season, the Warriors pulled the right strings and became a massive threat in the West. Suddenly, the team lost its momentum and started losing games after Stephen Curry‘s ankle injury. The Rockets made use of this opening and almost pulled down the Dubs from the 10th seed.

Jalen Green emerged as the star of the 11-game winning streak. In March alone, Green averaged 27.7 points with a high score of 42 points. Moreover, he recorded 40% from the arc in this stretch. The Dubs, in response, set out on a dominant road run. Compared to their previous seasons, the Dubs have produced an insane road record, winning 22 away games.

While the Rockets had a one-man show, the Dubs had an all-round team effort. Klay Thompson and Andrew Wiggins, who have had an underwhelming season, averaged above 15 points in the last 5 games. Tonight, it was Draymond Green‘s night. The 34-year-old star turned up the heat, putting in an all-around effort with 21 points, 11 assists, and 6 steals.

Dubs vs. Jalen Green & Co.: What lay ahead for both teams?

The Dubs have had the Rockets, inching closer to them in the last few days while threatening to steal the spot. Now, the Warriors have the opportunity to settle the conflict themselves. Following the Dubs’ upcoming Tuesday night match against the Mavericks, they take on their current rivals, the Rockets, at the Toyota Center.

On top of that, the Rockets had to face the mighty Timberwolves in their next outing. Considering the Wolves’ dominance, the H-Town might face yet another loss. At the same time, the Dubs also face the threatening Mavs. Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving have had a great stretch in the last few days with a 7-game winning streak.

The Dubs should bring in their full healthy roster to the Tuesday night clash and extend the streak to five games. Will the Dubs take down the Mavs and Rockets in the next two games? Let us know in the comments.
