Through later interactions, it was revealed Green is the father.

NBA fans, especially those devoted to the 22-year-old Houston Rockets guard, were furious. They saw alarming signs in the relationship majorly due to their age disparity. Michele’s eldest son is only a year younger than Green, and for this reason, Michele received backlash for sharing a child with the young NBA star. Michele made an appearance on The Shade Room podcast in September of last year and divulged into speaking about her life. One of the most widely public parts of her life has become her relationship with Jalen Green. This was before she and Green announced the birth of their child. Michele was a mother of two and admitted her desire to have more kids. This prompted the host to ask whether she would want to share those kids with her current partner, which is Jalen Green. Her response wasn’t the most convincing.

The popular actress admitted her relationship is “amazing”. However, she doesn’t feel it is imperative to be committed to the person just for the sake of sharing a child, and even introduced the concept of co-parenting.

“At this point in my life right, the relationship is amazing,” said Michele. “But that’s not what I am basing having a kid on. Because I am very non-traditional. I feel like you can co-parent without being in a relationship. Maybe just two people say ‘Hey, you want a kid, I want a kid. Let’s just have a kid’,”.

Unsurprisingly, fans declared code red on the situation at the time. They alarmed Green over his decision and began throwing shade towards the former Basketball Wives star. However, no troubling news has broken out just yet. As it seems, the couple are having a child together and are embracing the process of parenting. Green and Michele both seem happy at this point, but it’s impossible to predict what unfolds in the future.
