After the Lakers’ 5-point win over the Texas side, the reporters surrounded King James in the locker room and carried on with their usual business. However, one of the reporters noticed Bron’s selfless act in his den after the game. The reporter asked the superstar why would he give his time to a rookie, Stephon Castle. LeBron James simply responded, “I’ve been doing it for 22 years. Always have. Young talent comes into this league. I’ve always had an open-door policy on guys who want to get better and learn the game.”

Following that, LeBron James revealed that he had a similar chat with the Sixers rookie, Jared McCain, saying, ” I just, I love the young every crew that come in, every group that comes in every year. I did the same with Jerad McCain the other day.” Above all, he left an important duty for these young guns as well, saying, “Those guys are the new breed and they’re going to have to continue to carry this league when old fox leave. So, I love to see.”

The rookies coming into the league are around the age of 19 to 22, which is almost LeBron James’ career experience. And, on the other hand, these young guns must have grown up watching him play. So, it’s indeed a selfless act by the man himself to open his doors for anyone who wants to seek his wisdom. And LeBron’s advice seems to be doing wonders for the Philly rookie.

Jared McCain’s stats in the last 5 games

Despite having a strong lineup on paper, the Philadelphia 76ers have had a disappointing run this season. Losing three of their top offensive units to injuries. We are almost 15 games into the season, and the big three (Tyrese Maxey, Joel Embiid, and Paul George) are yet to play together in a single game. However, the team has one rare positive out of the pool of misery, and that is Jared McCain.

Coach Nick Nurse had no option other than throwing the dice on his bench. Guess what? McCain responded to the situation well, as consistently maneuvered the team’s offense. The rising star’s first sign of brilliance came when he led the shorthanded Sixer to an overtime win over the Charlotte Hornet, dropping 27 points. Moreover, he has been consistent ever since Nurse pulled him up for the task. Here is McCain’s stats from the last 5 games.
