“Jaylen Brown Still Can’t Dribble?”: Despite Celtics’ Brilliance vs Raptors Fans Swarm All-Star Guard

This isn’t the first time that Boston Celtics guard Jaylen Brown has been trolled for his ball handling. Over the last few years, Brown’s ability to dribble the ball in his left hand has always been criticized widely in the NBA world. Even when he signed the whooping $304 million contract, some questioned his ability to dribble. However, on this occasion, the Celtics had continued domination over the Toronto Raptors during the Saturday night game, and still, fans trolled him.

2x NBA All-Star has had a long-standing affiliation with the Celtics. Moreover, he plays the role of perfect wingman for the franchise leader, Jayson Tatum. The duo has worked together to put their side in a splendid position several times in the past, but yet to claim the chip. Nevertheless, the team roped in Jrue Holiday, an added strength to the team’s offense. Despite his accolades and role in the team, fans kept criticizing him for his dribble.

The Celtics dominated the Raptors throughout the game, maintaining a steady lead. Offensively, Jaylen Brown led the team with 29 points with 5 rebounds and  2 assists, followed by Jayson Tatum with 27 points. The team went onto restrict the Canada side with a 94-117 victory.

The Celtics gave away 12 turnovers in total and out of which, only 2 TO came under Brown’s name. Despite that, fans swarmed the guard and trolled him for his dribbling skills.

Ben Shapiro took a dig at Brown

Ben Shapiro, who is known for his controversial opinion on YouTube, ran all-out Jaylen Brown when he cracked the whooping $304 million deal. Shapiro took to his X handle and dropped a controversial tweet. The tweet read, “Man, imagine how much he’d be worth if he could dribble or go to his left.” In response to the tweet, several fans swarmed the comments and further trolled the star.

Despite the wide-blown criticism of his dribbling skills, Brown always came out on top with his numbers on the board. Moreover, Brown has a long way to go in his journey with the Celtics, as he signed a 5-year contract with the team in the offseason.
