Jimmy Butler is known for his fierce and competitive plays in games. He has a knack for saying and doing the most unexpected things and the man just doesn’t care as long as he is performing well in the court.

In a recent proclamation, Jimmy declared that he will “whoop y’all a**” in the upcoming season, meaning he will beat everyone on the way to the top. Jimmy seems to have ‘The Godfather’ Pat Riley’s support as Pat has publicly endorsed Jimmy’s bold statement. The $3 billion franchise owner has stepped up to the plate in support of the Miami Heat icon.

Pat, who is also the President of the team, spoke about what makes Jimmy Butler stand out among the others. He said about Jimmy, “He doesn’t fear the moment. He rises to the occasion — he always has. And that’s why he’s Jimmy. Freakin’. Butler.” Pat isn’t wrong in saying this.

As President of the team, Pat seems to have a soft spot for Jimmy, and rightfully so. Jimmy has proved time and again that he is an excellent asset to the team. His contributions have managed to take the team to the finals twice. Apart from this, he has continuously proven that he is one of the best players in the league. With Damian Lillard exiting the team, this also puts a lot of pressure on Jimmy.

Jimmy’s bold statement

Jimmy’s ferocity and unwavering determination in the court is what makes him “Jimmy Freakin’ Butler.” He has a unique sense of humor and he is known for saying what’s in his head without holding back. His recent statement raised a lot of eyebrows as he called out the entire league saying, “And then we’re gonna suit that s— up in October. And I’m gonna whoop all y’all ***. Again.”

There is no denying what he can achieve on the court. He lets his game do the talking. Jimmy doesn’t let last season’s loss bother him; he stated, “I already lost, [what] the f— you want me to do about it?” He is now focused on the upcoming season and everyone should watch out as Jimmy brings ‘heat’ to the court with Pat cheering him on.
