She is a versatile player and has excelled across multiple sports domains. Parkway High School in Louisiana saw her outstanding talent in basketball and softball. In 2021, she rose to international recognition when she was selected for the USA Under 17 World Cup team. She won both a gold medal and earned an MVP award.
Mikaylah consistently had remarkable numbers throughout her high school career. She averaged 23 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals per game.
In 2022, she led the high school team to victory to secure the first-place position in Class Five District 1. For her outstanding performance, once again she was awarded Gatorade Player of the Year.
