Why does chaos always surround iShowSpeed? His 29.9M YouTube subscribers never have a boring moment for sure. With myriads of activities always on his list, CR7’s crazy fan, Darren Jason Watkins Jr. aka, iShowSpeed is a sight to behold. However, trouble follows him everywhere he goes. He sprained his ankle earlier in July while doing the ‘SUI’ celebration, and now he’s broken the same one! What?
Well, playing 1v1 against some school kids in the Philippines has cost the YouTube streamer his ankle. Although, dribbling on a cemented court can be quite tricky at times. But to break an ankle, that too against kids? Well, what else can we say? While iShowSpeed will be in recovery, someone is rubbing salt on Darren’s embarrassment. The Utah Jazz‘s point guard Jordan Clarkson is giving him a second round of embarrassment. Commenting below the viral clip, the 32YO hooper said: “Jersey tuff… the youngins be hooping over there haha.” Simply speaking, Clarkson said that the school kids were doing better than iShowSpeed, but he broke his ankle instead.

The perfect destination for someone and a nightmare for another, Philippines saw some fun days pass by. iShowSpeed’s broken ankle will become a ‘Dear Diary’ moment, or another vlog for his YouTube. Moreover, he mentioned his choice of teammate to play with for the Philippines men’s national basketball team. “If I didn’t play for Team USA, I mean, I could rock out with JC [Jordan Clarkson]. That would be cool.” This statement has become the new talk of the town. However, leading to the question of Kyle Kuzma’s link to the Asian country. Is the one-time NBA champ of Filippino descent?
To disappoint you’ll, the answer is no. Kyle Kuzma is very much American. However, the 6’9″ power forward is multi-racial. His background is intriguing: his African-American father wasn’t around, but his strong Ukrainian mother was always there. So, that pretty much sums up the fact that Kyle isn’t Filippino at all. Moreover, the Michigan born power forward proudly represents Team USA. However, the respect he’s shown for the people and the country, Philippines is commendable. Sadly, iShowSpeed won’t have too many fond memories to share, like Kuzma!
