The Boston Celtics are up against the Milwaukee Bucks for the night at TD Garden in Boston. The Celtics are coming off a loss against the Charlotte Hornets, while the Bucks are riding on a five-game winning streak. However, the on-court ‘competitive’ feeling seemed to fade away while the opponents and ex-teammates were all jolly, lighting up the mood back in the locker room. Jrue Holiday facing his former team just makes the game so much more exciting to watch.

However, the locker-room energy said it all. With Holiday’s trade coming as a shock to many, he might be looking forward to getting some revenge on the team that discarded him.

The Damian Lillard trade saga

Damian Lillard became a Buck this off-season, but the biggest casualty of the trade was Jrue Holiday. The 2x All-Star was shipped to Portland as part of the package that sent Lillard the other way. To pile more misery on him, Holiday was then traded to the Celtics almost immediately. Although he was a critical factor in the Bucks’ 2021 championship run, facing them for a revenge game might be on the cards tonight. As per his recent interview, Holiday seems to be at peace, but he was also looking forward to a little more transparency from the Bucks.

After being traded to the C’s, he is playing with the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference now. Coming off a shock loss against the Charlotte Hornets, the franchise might gather up the manpower to secure a win tonight.
