While this will be a crucial game for both teams, we have another interesting development at hand. The Bulls’ forward Demar DeRozan was seen hanging out with his former Raptors teammate and “brother” Kyle Lowry. This is especially interesting because of trade rumors involving Demar that the Bulls might make a move and trade him before the deadline in February.

Demar for the Heat?

In a video posted on X that shows the two brothers walking out together, Kyle looks very excited as he looks at someone off-camera and playfully finger guns with both hands. In the same video, we see a snippet of the two joined by Jimmy Butler inside what looks like a bar. Seeing the two brothers reunited again has set the trade rumors in motion with speculations that Demar could potentially be traded to the Heat and fans are all for it.

What adds to this rumor mill is that D-Roz’s $81.9 million contract with the Bulls, signed in 2021 for three years, expires this summer, and he had hinted at some preferred destinations. Miami was one of them. Whether a contract extension with the Bulls will come to fruition is another agenda up for Demar to think about. However, considering his love for Chicago, he might stay.
