Following a two-season outing with the Boston Celtics, Irving found himself a spot with the Nets. Not only that, he also roped in James Harden and Kevin Durant along with him in 2021. Even though they had a pretty good season initially, it didn’t last longer. Harden left the mix immediately with a quick trade without revealing the reasons then.
Meanwhile, Irving faced a lot of controversies with regards to his political stance and Anti-vaccinationism. The league slapped him with suspension and fines. A few weeks later, Irving found his way out with the Mavs trade. Following him, Durant also found a trade with the Phoenix Suns.
