Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown passed on wisdom to the home fans after the Kyrie Irving drama. The Celtics hosted the Dallas Mavericks tonight and set the stage for an exciting contest. However, right before the tipoff, the TD Garden ignited a drama by giving a cold shoulder welcome to their former guard. Irving, who received a rousing welcome on his return to Cleveland, was showered with boos during the line-up announcement. Addressing the boisterous act, Brown dropped wise advice to the fans.

Following the game, a reporter asked for the star’s comment on the booing incident. Brown declined to respond and instead backed it up with advice. He said, “We should probably boo every star player that comes in the arena…When Jokic and all those other players come here, boo them too.”

Lately, it has been the same case for a Celtics star as well. Kristaps Porzingis, whom the Celtics roped in this season, has been receiving loud boos from his former team’s fans. During the Celts’ recent visit to the MSG, the NY crowd welcomed the big man with loud boos. In response, Porzingis acknowledged the crowd’s act and turned it to his advantage.

After defeating the Knicks, he addressed the boos and said, “I prefer any kinda emotion over no emotion. It’s either cheers or boos, I want it. Tonight was no different. Big Game. TV game… Took care of business, good win for us.”

Similarly, on the other hand, Jaylen Brown looked to make the most of his TD Crowd’s bitter act. The top-seeding team has had few disappointing seasons in a row, missing out on the playoffs after a dominant run in the regular season. Preferably, Brown expected the crowd to go after dominant players like Nikola Jokic to have the home-court advantage.
