With the win, the Lakers now have an opportunity to become the first team in the NBA to win the In-season title.

However, the In-season Finals victory might not bring the joy of winning the NBA trophy for the Lakers players and fans.

The Lakers are among the most successful teams in the NBA with 17 titles. Moreover, each title has a hanging banner of its own at the Crypto.com arena rafters. However, a senior reporter, Arash Markazi, posted a piece of heart-breaking news to the Lakers fans. The post read, “I’m told the Lakers currently have no plans to change their stance on only hanging banners for NBA championships. They don’t hang banners for Western Conference titles, Pacific Division titles and (for now) potential NBA In-Season Tournament titles, only NBA titles.”

While it may not bring the playoffs vibes to the Lakers’ family, James seemed to be locked in.
