Bruce Brown Jr. is Nikola’s teammate. He and NBA player, Theo Pinson have seen a lot of NBA players, playing for the Brooklyn Nets and Dallas Mavericks respectively, But even so, when they sat down for a podcast, they began reminiscing about the one NBA player and the one game that is special.

They took the time out to specifically talk about Nikola Jokic and his behavior during one game during the 2023 NBA finals. Theo Pinson, while speaking to Bruce Brown Jr. during the podcast, said, “I play the La La Land, the Lakers. Y’all wanted that smoke.”

When the discussion continued, Bruce Brown Jr. said, “Nikola was speaking to everybody. I have never seen him speak like that in court. He wasn’t talking sh*t, but he was like, into the game. Like he’s playing no games. He had something to prove, he’s the best player in the world.”

Jokic and Bruce Brown have grabbed the headlines now and then because of their antics both on and off the court. The two wear the same team colors, those of the Denver Nuggets.

The two share a camaraderie as well. When their team celebrated their first NBA win in Vegas in ’23, Brown Jr. alleged that it was Jokic who was responsible for his drinking after the win.

Rising to the top spots, Nikola led to an incredible victory for the Nuggets earlier this year.
