LeBron James and Draymond Green Get Fired up After Ja Morant’s Comeback Game Winner: “Tough”

The entire NBA world eagerly waited for Ja Morant’s comeback from suspension this offseason. Out of which, the Memphis Grizzlies fans were the most eager to see their star point guard suit up as soon as possible. And the young 24-year-old surely did not disappoint in his first game of the season.

Ja Morant had the fans at the edge of their seats in the arena till the end of the final buzzer. Not only the fans but players like LeBron James and Draymond Green could not help but take notice of his first game as well.

Ja Morant’s heroics fire up stars in the league

The Memphis Grizzlies defeated the New Orleans Pelicans with a 115-113 final score. The team was led by their All-Star point guard, Ja Morant, and his last-second heroics to will his team to victory.

Morant may have had one of the best comebacks to the court this season so far. The Murray State product finished the game with 34 points, 8 assists, 6 rebounds, 2 steals, and 1 block for the game. And not to forget the game-winner he had for the Grizzlies.

Players like LeBron James and Draymond Green went on to share their enthusiasm on X after Morant hit the game-winner in his first game back on the court.

James posted the number 12 and “That’s all”, along with a few emojis.

Whereas Draymond Green wrote, “Tough Ja.”

Morant went on to miss about 26 games with the team. Not to mention the training camps in the offseason and the preseason games as well. Yet, the 6’2 guard was absolutely locked in for his first game back with the team.

Can Morant rally the team back to the top?

Ja Morant’s heroics in the game and the final seconds drew a lot of reactions, not just from players but multiple fans on social media as well. And rightfully so, given the level of performance he had in his first game back.

The Grizzlies were the second-best team in the Western Conference last year. But so far, the team is in the 13th spot in the West this season. And a lot of that had to do with the absence of Morant.
