This was after they went on to review the shot as well, placing James’ foot on the line. After the game, The King went to his official Instagram account to share an image of his feet before the shot. Convinced that his foot was not on the line, James sarcastically captioned the image, Sooooooooooooooo!!!!! WTF. Helluva Happy Bday gift to me.”

LeBron James had a strong outing for the game. He scored 26 points on 10-21 shooting while going 1-4 from beyond the arc. James also had 6 assists, 3 rebounds, 3 steals, and 1 block for the game as well.

James and the Lakers got a huge boost from Anthony Davis who led the team in scoring. Davis capped off the night with 33 points, 17 rebounds, 8 assists, 4 steals, and 2 blocks for the game as well.

It was unfortunate that the Lakers lost on a bad call by the officials.

Did the Lakers get robbed?

This may be the first game where the Los Angeles Lakers may have been robbed by poor officiating this year. The Lakers suffered this type of loss a lot of nights last year during the season.

But to lose a game on his 39th birthday surely was a tough pill to swallow for LeBron James. After the game, James had a few words with the media, talking about his last shot and the review as well.
