He then signed a one-year contract with the Baltimore Ravens in April. He recorded 116 yards on 4 catches during Thursday Night Football, his best game since the Week 2 game with the?Cleveland Browns in 2019.

This resurgence caught the attention of King James, who in a post-game interview remarked, “I mean you just start from injury… I think at that point he was on his way to a Super Bowl MVP, you know, playing at a high level… and you know to see him go down… like you said the resilience and what he’s done to overcome that injury to being back looking like himself once again.”

He added, “I’m just happy to see him back on the field, though. It’s always good when Odell’s on the field, that’s for sure.” The Ravens will face off against the Los Angeles Chargers on November 26, 2023, marking OBJ’s first game at SoFi Stadium since the injury.

As for James, he is having one of the best years of his career. At 38, he is averaging age-defying numbers while playing full minutes. Along with putting up monster numbers, he is also breaking one record after another.

He then surpassed Hall of Famer Clyde Drexler (2,207) in career steals, jumping to the 8th spot on the all-steals list. Recently, he reached a career milestone after mustering 39,000 career points?the first and only person to do that.
