Balance is essential in a relationship. That was amongst the things discussed when Savannah James welcomed husband LeBron James, Kai Cenat, and Fanum on her podcast Everybody’s Crazy. But balance can’t always mean equal distribution. Just take the case of the James clan. The Akron Hammer is entering Year 23, which could be his last. For most of his playing career, Savannah took a backseat.

But the curve is slowly shifting. LeBron James clearly sees it. Turning 41 in a few months, the four-time NBA champion is approaching retirement. However, Savannah James is just taking off, gearing up to start her own entrepreneurial career.
“For me like I can see my plane, I’m ready to start you know, descending and hitting the road and while I’m doing that her plane is taking off. She’s like a rocket right now. So like, and I’m okay with that s–t too, cause I did the rocket stage. You know what I’m saying? So it could also change over the course of time, and having that depend on who you guys are, you know, it could work,” he explained on Everybody’s Crazy.

For the majority of the last two decades, Savannah James built the family. During a busy NBA schedule, that was exactly the kind of support LeBron James needed to pursue his passion. Now they could switch roles soon. While the four-time MVP does have his own businesses, his impending retirement will free up significant time. On the other hand, Savannah has just started to discover herself.

At first, she was short of confidence. However, once Savannah James thought about the precedent she wanted to set for her daughter Zhuri, she decided to explore her interests. Since then, the 39-year-old has diversified her portfolio.

Savannah James is ready to see her rocket soar
Savannah James isn’t new to being an entrepreneur. While LeBron James was with the Miami Heat, she started her first business. In 2013, she opened ‘The Juice Spot’ in Miami. However, in 2015, when her life switched back to Cleveland, it was shut down. Likewise, with Bronny, Bryce, and Zhuri still young, Savannah James dedicated herself to being a mother.
Now each of their children is invested in their futures. Bronny James is gearing up for his second season with the Lakers, Bryce James is at college in Arizona, and Zhuri James has taken up volleyball. Secure about their future, Savannah James could once again start discovering herself. And she has done so with a blast.

In 2024, she and podcast co-host April McDaniel launched ‘Let It Break’. It’s a personal development program for women that focuses on the holistic concept of life. They started with 100 members, catering to members in Los Angeles and New York. According to Fortune, they have plans to expand their business this year.
Furthermore, Savannah James also started her own beauty company. Yes, the same one LeBron James tested on his Instagram once. Called ‘Reframe Beauty’, the brand focuses on inclusivity, fit for every culture and skin. She worked with a team of experts and used the products for two years herself before launch. And if anything, this is just the tip of the iceberg.
Savannah James could have a lot more in store, even possibly working together with LeBron James to grow a business empire. In doing so, her personality has changed. Once, she was afraid to present herself. Now, she can’t wait to grow and reach new heights.
