The Los Angeles Lakers suffered a humiliating loss against the San Antonio Spurs on Friday. The Spurs dominated the Lakers right from the tip-off and ended their 18-game losing streak. Notably, moments after the loss, the franchise spearhead LeBron James took a dig at his teammate in the locker room.

Following the loss, the Japanese star Rui Hachimura took up a few questions in the locker room. One of the reporters asked him about the viral Shohei Ohtani’s LA Dodgers trade. The 25-year-old star went on talking about his country until LeBron James interrupted him with a slight dig.

King James reminded Hachimura of the blow, where he accidentally hit James in the face during the rebound attempt. The game paused for a brief moment, as James stayed on the floor in pain for a moment.

The superstar took the locker room interview as an opportunity and didn’t hold back from taking a dig at him. He interrupted Hachimura mid-way and said, “Trying to get me to wear the mask?” Notably, Hachimura has been wearing a mask during his on-court performance following nasal surgery.

Leaving the humor apart, both stars put up a strong performance in their attempt to chase down the Spurs’ lead, dropping 43 points combined with 18 assists.
