There’s little left for LeBron James to conquer in the NBA. After having spent two decades fulfilling the prophecy of being the “chosen one,” the kid from Akron, Ohio seems to be resting on his laurels. However, retirement isn’t near for him, as he still has an unfulfilled aim in the league. The “aim” isn’t a secret at all, LBJ made it clear that the only thing left for him to do in the NBA is play alongside both his sons Bronny and Bryce.

Since the 4x champion uttered those words, fans have been livid to see the James family team up. Possible roster changes and even mock scenarios were fully laid out to predict how and when the team-up was possible. Yet, Bron’s wishes have hit a speed bump since last year. Now, a probability of what will actually happen might have emerged.

Although in 2023 fans thought Bronny James was already a shoo-in for the 2024 NBA draft, especially after he decided to play for USC, tragedy struck. The 19-year-old collapsed on the gym floor during a practice session. It was a shock to the whole basketball world when it was finally revealed it was a cardiac arrest.

On the other hand, Bryce has secured his initial Division-I offer, he holds a three-star recruit status in the Class of 2025. Even if he were to participate in just one year of college basketball, he would be ineligible for the NBA Draft until the 2026 edition. This implies that LeBron would reach the age of 43 during the inaugural season in which Bryce could potentially enter the NBA. It’s a formidable challenge for anyone, but LeBron has consistently surpassed expectations in the past. So, can we expect him to do it again?
