LeBron James’ 6’11 Tall Ex-teammate Throws Massive Shade at Dennis Rodman and Wilt Chamberlain: “I’m the Best Ever”

The game of basketball often sees players develop a niche and excel at it. Some players go down as the best shooters while others are lauded over their defensive abilities. One attribute that isn’t given much recognition is rebounding. Yet there are a few legends who had made their entire game about getting boards and excelling at it.

Some of the biggest names that come to mind when one thinks of rebounding are legends like Wilt Chamberlain and Dennis Rodman to name a few. However, this two-time All-Star and LeBron James’ former teammate believes that he is the best to ever do so.

Since the 90s, there have been a few players who have dominated the boards as other legends did. Dwight Howard was one player who excelled at rebounding both on offense and defense in the early 2000s.

But if we’re talking about the 2010 era, then Andre Drummond surely should be talked about in that aspect. Drummond led the league in rebounding four times while also maintaining healthy scoring numbers.

Recently, an interview with Drummond started to gain traction. In the interview, Drummond says, “Respective like I just said. I used to play 40+ minutes, I was a star, an All-Star, All-NBA. I’ve done it. Hall of Fame candidate. Best rebounder ever.”

The host brought up a state and before he could finish, Drummond cut him off and said, “I’m the best ever. What you mean?” The host went on to ask him where he ranked himself when it came to the best bigmen in history.

The Chicago Bulls center continued to bring his rebounding prowess into the argument. But he did believe that he had a chance of being in the Hall of Fame.

Andre Drummond was the 9th pick by the Detroit Pistons in the 2012 NBA draft. Drummond was drafted in the hopes of providing some defense in the paint but he managed to exceed the expectations of many.

By his second year in the league, Drummond managed to average double-digit rebounds along with double-digit point averages as well. And soon, he made the All-Star team while also making the All-NBA third team.

There is no doubt that Drummond was a rebounding machine, leading the league four times. However, for him to be considered to be in the Hall of Fame over just his rebounding abilities may end up breaking his heart.
