Stephen Curry went off tonight at Indianapolis. Stepping into the arena with 3 wins from the last four games, The Golden State Warriors looked to end their road trip on a high. And Steph laid the perfect platform for it. The 35-year-old, who had cooled off game against the Philadelphia 76ers, turned up the heat, right from the word get go. Meanwhile, when the fans took the pleasure out of it, Steve Kerr played the spoil sport by benching Curry.

Klay Thompson-less Dubs took on the court and the Baby-faced Assassin didn’t make his Splash Bro’s absence. He dropped 6-6 three pointers in the first quarter, making a quick fire 18 points in the first quarter. Right when the fans expected the superstar to go further in the quarter, Kerr pulled him out and replaced him with Brandin Podziemski around 3 minutes on the clock.

Nevertheless, Steph didn’t stop his blow-up business in the second quarter. Even though he sat most of it on the bench, he came back in late to balloon up lead and put pressure on the Indiana Pacers.

What does the season look like for Stephen Curry and the Warriors?

After a bumpy start to the season, Dub Nation expected a drastic change in the roster. But, the management seemed to have still keep the trust of their players. Especially on Klay Thompson and Andrew Wiggins.

The champion duo had a rough season so far in the league. Even though Thompson showed signs of his return, Wiggins didn’t really impress on the court.

However, yesterday, it was Wiggins and Klay, who turned up the heat against the Philadelphia 76ers. Moreover, the team has Chris Paul and Gary Payton II, recovering from injury. Once they return to the court, the Dubs will have a competitive team to find a spot in the playoffs.
