According to ESPN, free agent Wood signed a two-year, $5.7 million deal with the Lakers that includes a player option for the 2024-25 season. Last year, Wood averaged 16.6 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks per game in 67 games for the Dallas Mavericks as per stats from ESPN. The forward brings much-needed support to the Lakers’ title ambitions.
