According to Shams Charania, “Lakers guard Gabe Vincent is scheduled to join team during current road trip and is expected to be available to play vs. the Nets on Sunday barring setback.” Gabe Vincent has suited up for the Lakers since 20th December because of a knee surgery. Vincent’s shooting prowess from behind the arc could provide a massive boost to the Lakers, especially considering their struggles with three-point shooting.

Although Lakers fans may rejoice at Gabe Vincent’s comeback, concerns over Anthony Davis’ injury could overshadow their excitement. Reports suggest that AD suffered a left knee hyperextension versus the Milwaukee Bucks. Anthony Davis missed the Lakers’ last match against the Memphis Grizzlies due to a knee injury. Despite Davis’ absence, the Lakers came out on top against the Grizzlies, winning the game by a scoreline of 136-124.

LeBron James played a pivotal role in the victory, recording 23 points, 14 rebounds and 12 assists during the game. However, Rui Hachimura stole the show with his 32 points and 10 rebound performance. With less than 10 regular season games remaining, the Lakers would massively depend on LeBron and Hachimura if AD misses more games.
