The Houston Rockets once again dominate the defending champions Denver Nuggets at their home on Friday night. The home side kept the pressure on the visitors right from the tip off, as they ended the first quarter with a 10-point lead. It didn’t stop there, as they continued to strangle the Nuggets. The lead swelled up to a steady 20 points. The team’s performance left the fans, including the star Tari Eason’s mom, in awe. She even expressed her excitement in a terse message.

In their first match-up this season, the Nuggets, which looked absolutely immovable with the likes of Nikola Jokic, Aaron Gordan, and Michael Porter Jr., bit the dust. On the other hand, the Rockets have towering 6 ’11 Alperen Sengun, who has been currently dominating the league near the paint and Fred VanVleet took charge. Similarly, during the Friday night game, they kept the defending champions on their toes.

While the bench only contributed with 18 points, the starting line-up proved its class as everyone contributed equally. Jalen Green and Alperen Sengun were the picks from the lot with 25 and 21 points respectively.

Whom to watch out for in the upcoming Rockets games?

Recently, it has been Alperen Sengun, who has caught the attention of the NBA world with his strength and domination near the paint. Especially a video of Sengun unsettling LeBron James near the paint went viral. But, it is Dillon Brooks, who is the player to watch out for, without taking away Sengun’s skills. The Villian Dillon has an improved field goal and three point percentage compared to his previous season. Importantly, Brooks has found his way of defending the big guns of the league.
