In an unexpected turn of events, Friday saw the surprise release of a new song by Drake, catching even those in their right minds off guard – James Harden included. In fact, the song, interestingly co-produced by Kevin Durant makes the Harden references in the song all the more interesting. A possible nightmare for the latest Clippers star!

As you are trying to figure out what that song means, we are trying to figure out the same with you! Some speculate that the lyrics may allude to Harden’s former sniper-like skills, while others are more intrigued by the possibility of insights into his dating history. Did Harden really steal someone’s boo? The cryptic lyrics suggest so.

Hinting at Harden’s dating life?

The title of the new song is “The Shoe Fits”. Furthermore, it had cryptic lyrics possibly hinting at the Clippers star’s dating life. The 5x Grammy Winner has mentioned Harden in his lyrics, saying “She points to the guy she’s talking about and it’s James Harden. Lost your girl to the sniper, 13.”

Hmm! We wonder, what could it be? Did Drake really bring up the Clippers star or is it just a speculation? The mentions of J Hard are showered discreetly towards the end of the song, with the lyrics literally putting his name in it.

The rapper is also referencing Harden’s jersey number #13. #13 dates back to his time with OKC, Nets, and Rockets. At the same time, the lyrics also talk about “playing at the garden”, probably hinting at him playing at the Madison Square Garden (New York).  Or is it all just a play on his dating life on him stealing someone’s boo? The lyrics do point in that direction as well.

Coming from Drake, we wonder what the agenda is behind it all. Unless explicitly mentioned by any of them, though, it’s all a big speculation.

‘The Beard’, chiefly has a colorful off-the-court life. The Ex-MVP has drawn links with several renowned celebrities over the years. Harden is rumored to be dating Jessyka Janshel, as the duo has been spotted together multiple times since 2017.

In 2021, rumors of him dating Saweetie also spread like wildfire. While there is absolutely no confirmation, there have been many rumors suggesting that James Harden allegedly sent Saweetie a $100,000 Cash App gift just to date him. Spicy? You bet!

Meanwhile, James Harden and Khloe Kardashian met at a basketball-themed birthday celebration by Kanye West. They dated for eight months and separated ways in 2016. And this was one high-profile breakup. Despite it being more than 5 years now, Harden wishes Khloe nothing but good wishes. He once said, “She’s a great person“. The media attention that he started to get after dating the reality TV star overwhelmed him, which eventually led to their breakup.

“I feel like it was for no reason. I wasn’t getting anything out of it except my name out there and my face out there, and I don’t need that. It wasn’t uncomfortable, but it wasn’t me. It was unnecessary stuff that I think trickled down to my teammates. I had to eliminate that,” said Harden.
