As the 2023 campaign unfolded, the Warriors made several adjustments to their starting lineup. They have opted to keep their key players on the bench and have also tried introducing players like Kevon Looney and Chris Paul to reinforce their defense. Despite these changes, they have yet to unlock their full potential.
Amidst the team’s struggles, Curry has consistently embodied a championship mentality. Frustrated by the undesired outcomes, he recently urged the coaching staff to intensify their efforts and address the team’s issues.
Expressing his frustration in a post-game interview, Curry stated, “It is frustrating, for sure. Thirty-two games in, and any seriously competitive contender, a good team can answer that question. Is there a clear-cut five players the team can rely on? We have to get to that point before it’s too late.”
