Last season, Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic failed to take his team through to the playoffs, even after adding a player like Kyrie Irving to the team. Hence, they have added a few important pieces in the off-season, like Grant Williams and Seth Curry, among others. They also re-signed Irving. Williams will certainly improve the Mavs’ defense and 3-point shooting and Curry will always add value to the team.

Meanwhile, Doncic’s new teammate, who signed a 4-year $53 million contract deal recently, talked about one of his former teammates and how he helped him through one of the toughest times in his career.

Former Boston Celtics player Grant Williams recently appeared on the YouTube channel Tidal League and talked about his tough time during the pandemic. After the NBA season came to a halt in the middle of the season, Williams could not go to his home, as he did not want his grandparents to get sick because of COVID-19.

He says, ‘Hey man, just come live with me, we’ll train, we’ll kick it, you know vibe… We will come back, you know when we get back from the bubble. Hopefully, we keep playing. Everything will work out, it’s gonna be like probably a month.’
