The veteran, DeAndre Jordan, had a short spell in the Dallas Mavericks squad. Though he was on the team for a mere 6 months, the Mavs were eyeing the NBA title with him. His former teammate Luka Doncic congratulated him on winning the title with the Denver Nuggets last season. Playing as a center, Jordan pivoted a crucial role in the Nuggets’ memorable stint.

Jordan, however, did not start for the Nuggets in their opening or preseason games. This is an indication that he might have to start most of the season from the reserves. The veteran scored 8 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 assists in the Nuggets’ loss against the Clippers a week back. He was yet to start against his former team, the Lakers, in their opening NBA match.
