Only ten days remain for the most exciting exhibition game of the season. The biggest, most thunderous talents in the NBA all accumulated on the same floor. The vintage West vs East rosters will make a return. The twenty-four stars from the game and the participants in the challenges will have a packed week. For the rest, it’s a time to relax and get a much-needed break from their highly active life. Phoenix Suns’ Bradley Beal isn’t the conventional guy.

Beal’s trade to the Suns to join Kevin Durant and Devin Booker really shook the NBA’s core. However, it took a quarter of the season for the trio to really start gelling together. Beal dealt with back and ankle injuries that limited him to play only 8 games midway through December. Since then he has been a consistent face in the Suns’ starting lineup trying to decode their true dynamic.

His suppressed appearances also left him off the All-Star game. Beal won’t be a part of the Indiana All-Star showcase. After their win against the Milwaukee Bucks, he was asked about his plans, and rest isn’t on his schedule.

Bradley Beal won’t stop working in the break

After missing most of the season, Beal has finally shaken off the rust. Over the last two games, Beal’s shot has looked more comfortable and a lot more consistent. He is always his game to slowly emerge and blossom as we go deeper into the season. In a critical win against the Milwaukee Bucks tonight, he was sensational, dropping 25 points and combining for 85 with KD and Booker.

Following the victory, Beal was asked about his plans for the forthcoming All-Star break.

After a rigorous season, most NBA players embrace the weekend-long break they get from their always-busy calendars. They spend time with their families, go on vacations or just take the time to submerge in relaxation. When Beal was asked about his plans, he revealed his tenacious mindset. “Break is always necessary. I’ll continue to work on the break, that’s for sure,” he told the reporters.

The former Washington star vows to work despite having the weekend off. Only one thing could keep him off the court, and that’s a decision to have surgery. Beal is planning to have naval cavity surgery soon. He describes his nose as looking “like an S”. The procedure will require him to miss some time, preferably the weekend stretch.

When asked about the surgery, Bradley Beal said he will have a decision to make during the break given he will need a few days to heal.

“Luckily, we got the All-Star break coming up, I’ll have to make a decision on whether I’m doing a little bit of a nose job or not. (And if not) I’ll wait until the offseason,” said Bradley Beal about his nose surgery according to Arizona Sports.
